Aside from that, the Rio comes with 1GB RAM. It

While cosmopolitian magazine the MyPhone Infinity was the star of the show a couple of months back, the MyPhone Rio could be the actual game changer. It may not have an octa core chipset or a fancy premium build, but it’s got some outrageously great internals cosmopolitian magazine for something that’s priced at Php5k.
For the money, you’re getting a 5 inch HD IPS display, 1.3GHz quad core processor, cosmopolitian magazine and a choice between red, orange, yellow, black, blue and white back covers. To put things cosmopolitian magazine into perspective, cosmopolitian magazine the Kata i3 sports the same screen and chipset while retailing for Php3k+ more! I managed to get some hands on time with the Rio at Allphones’ 50th store launch at Robinsons Galleria. Here are my impressions. The Screen
The MyPhone Rio’s 5 inch HD IPS screen is comparable to some local flagship phones from a year back that used to cost twice as much. The contrast is not as good, leading to a lack of punchiness, but at Php5k I’m not complaining. The clarity cosmopolitian magazine is still quite excellent though. cosmopolitian magazine The Software
The Rio runs Android cosmopolitian magazine 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The differences between stock Android are mostly cosmetic, with the Rio sporting MyPhone-themed icons and wallpapers that lend it a different look. The navigation cosmopolitian magazine and basic operation are still the same though. The Hardware
The MyPhone Rio is driven by a 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582 system-on-a-chip (SoC), which is an upgrade over the previous generation’s MT6589. cosmopolitian magazine The MT6582 is 100MHz faster than the MT6589 of old and is coupled with a dual core Mali 400 GPU. The Mali 400 may be an older GPU, but it’s still capable of rendering better visuals compared to the PowerVR SGX544 GPU that was coupled cosmopolitian magazine with the MT6589.
Aside from that, the Rio comes with 1GB RAM. It’s the recommended amount of RAM for Jelly Bean devices, although there are still some that try to force it with just 512MB RAM. I’m certainly surprised that MyPhone was able to cram 1GB RAM on the Rio considering the screen is already quite good at this price point.
If cosmopolitian magazine MyPhone manages to keep the price at Php5k, I’ll be quite pleased. cosmopolitian magazine The hardware is so much better than you can typically get at this price point and will make higher performing phones more accessible to the masses

Again I would just like to clarify if it’s really 4,999 SRP? kasi there are buzz na nagsasabing 7,999 na daw sya by Monday? is this true? if it’s true this is the most disappointing thing My|Phone has ever done
The booth attendant said that it would be getting a price bump soon but didn’t give a time frame. However, a source with ties to the management at MyPhone has said that the price would remain at Php5k. I would be inclined cosmopolitian magazine to trust the source with ties to MP as the saleslady cosmopolitian magazine may have been just instructed to use the “price bump” as a sales tactic.
Yes, by far
Why is it better?
it is 5point multitouch?
walang kwenta ang CLOUDFONE SIRA PARATI…
im going to buy this phone tomorrow. I already checked this at the MYPHONE Store. maganda ung unit for the price of P 4,900.00 . Much better than my CLOUDFONE nasira agad after 2 days hindi na nagchacharge. binalik ko wala daw STOCKS mag 3 months na hahahahaha
Broadcom 23550 of CM omega spectrum support up to 1080P screen resolution , while the latest MT6582 cosmopolitian magazine support only up to 720P screen resolution…I read some review spec. that RIO older version it has only MT6582M cpu with only support up to qHD(960x 800) screen resolution
kaya po ba ng “app2Sd” ‘to??
im so excited na to buy myphone rio..sana lang makita ko na s myphone rio ang mga hnd ko nkita sa mga naging phone ko tulad ng sinasabi
