The transaction happened last Wednesday of this week so I m expecting that the funds should arrive on my BDO bank account by Friday at least so I called the bank to check since the online banking access is advising unsuccessful transaction when I checked.

I was wandering how hard it is to send an email nowadays especially from banks! Back in December, NTC along with local telcos proposed to cap the bandwidth on internet broadband to improve their service in terms of speed and uptime. It was met with a lot of objections from consumers and this prompted NTC to hold a public forum in January that resulted to the scrapping of the idea.
However, we just learned that Globe recently implemented a 1GB daily bandwidth cap on their broadband services as part of their fair-use exploring business karen collins policy. This fair-use policy is not new to mobile broadband subscribers especially prepaid ones who uses unlimited deals. In fact there’s already an 800MB daily bandwidth cap in their Unlisurf promo, but that’s fairly understandable since mobile internet is commonly used for light and personal consumption.
This 1GB cap is for all their broadband services to eliminate abusive subscribers who uses their network bandwidth to download pirated content such as softwares exploring business karen collins and videos. The problem here is that those who use the internet to download legal stuff such as distros and legally paid softwares/games, view YouTube HD content exploring business karen collins or those from a large household will surely be affected.

The MyPhone Rio’s 5 inch HD IPS screen is comparable to some local flagship phones from a year back that used to cost twice as much. However, a source with ties to the management at MyPhone has said that the price would remain at Php5k. The Starmobile Icon has more emphasis on practicality and function over aesthetics. It’s not the thinnest quad-core device out there but it definitely feels like one of the more durable and sturdy ones. There’s a comfortable and natural heft to it which makes it easy to handle and manage with just one hand. That’s in part thanks to the 4.5-inch display.
At the back of the device we have a smooth black matte finish which helps with the grip. Unfortunately though while it does help with grip it seems to be a fingerprint and smudge the new road to serfdom magnet, hehe. Make sure you have something in your bag to wipe this with if you’re the type that always wants their gadgets pristine. Also, the Starmobile logo is in red which is the brand color of Starmobile for their quad-core devices.
