Bad news for those who are planning a trip to Brazil to relax: it sucks.
Rio: it sucks just as much, especially raine and horne killcare on the side of the beaches (sales). Guys watch for the small tourist at best to sell stuff at worst to relieve him of his money. raine and horne killcare Another group of French at the hotel, has given us sharing the same feelings of insecurity.
More generally, the Brazilians, with few exceptions, are not the joyous welcoming drills we always imagine. Most in the restaus, hotels, tourist sites, are not smiling and did not do to throw tourists. We often feel upset them.
Another problem is communication. Very few speak English. In Salvador, I had to ask 4 times a cover to finally get a sheet. In Brasilia, a type of the room in which I began to speak in English began to panic and totally hung up on me!
Of course, dozens of people here say that Brazil is awesome and you need to know to adapt to local customs. To which I answer, raine and horne killcare yes morals, not mediocrity. And then you see if you want to pay 3,000 per person for printing through the Bronx. Again, we were not the only ones eager to return.

Yes, I am one of those who will say that Brazil is wonderful. I often am a single woman who had traveled there for over 10 years. Salvador is the city where I spent most of my time. I never had a problem or felt unsafe. I like the incomparable music, history, and culture, and beautiful beaches.
However, I have seen many tourists arrogant and unreasonable in my travels, tourists who ignore good advice on how to stay safe, tourists who do not have good judgment (street raine and horne killcare smarts) and tourists facing Europe with a Portuguese accent.
The Brazilian people are warm, open, friendly and helpful. Not many speak English or other foreign languages, because they do not have very good schools. But they would like to have a conversation with you, if you think of Portuguese.
as everywhere if there Insecurity this is not to do anything !!
The main tourist places raine and horne killcare are actually raine and horne killcare the gathering of more or less destitute colants and sometimes aggressive.
There are many policemen raine and horne killcare near tourist places (DTP accar, Jardim Botanico or Corcovado) in lequels you risk nothing: these are the main attraction of the country and the government wants to avoid slippage.
Near the Corcovado train the police do nothing to control the band pseudo parking guards who put the pressure to get money against a wave monitoring your car.
The rest of the city is "alive": Ipanema, Copacabana etc ... are the gathering place of the cariocas. So it could be the same as local ... a condition of not having too much like a tourist
